THE city-owned JR Borja General Hospital (JRBGH) received a Plaque of Recognition given by the Department of Health—Center for Health Development Northern Mindanao for its significant contribution and continued support to the National Voluntary Blood Services Program.
The recognition complements the RISE Agenda of Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy and highlights the hospital’s commitment under JRBGH Chief of Hospital, Dr. Michael June Perez, in strengthening people-centered public health services.
Hospital officials noted that the recognition reflects the institution’s collaborative efforts to promote voluntary blood donation and enhance emergency and clinical care services.
JRBGH also expressed its gratitude to the dedicated Blood Bank team led by Ms. Merriam Olamit, RN, with the technical leadership of Chief Medical Technologist Ms. Clarice C. Pabillan, RMT, and the guidance of Hospital Pathologist Dr. Regina Fatima Raagas-Horlador.
Special acknowledgment was likewise given to the hospital’s voluntary blood donors, whose continued generosity plays a vital role in saving lives.(DYM/CIO/Photos by JRBGH)
